Gargnano offers plenty of opportunity to practice some sailing, at the Gargnano Sailing Club you can enjoy a wonderful boat trip off the coast in the waters of the Brescia side of Lake Garda or you can try your hand at windsurfing with the Ok Surf School. The beaches offer the chance to relax and sunbathe or have a swim, nearby you can also find the Bogliacco Golf Resort in the town of Bogliacco. In Gargnano there are also places where you can enjoy trap-shooting and archery. Uncontaminated nature and old pathways are ideal for those who enjoy horse riding, walking or mountain biking.
winter
In winter the mild climate is ideal for quiet walks along the lakeside as well as jogging or mountain biking. By the lake you can find people practicing Nordic walking but if you are keen on winter sports, such as skiing or snowboarding, you can head towards the nearest ski resorts, such as those on Monte Baldo, in the province of Verona, on Monte Bondone, in Trentino or in the areas in the province of Brescia.
